"Come on," said Alex. "It's our only chance!" They forced the door open. "This way," Nigel and Hudson snuck out, followed by Kristen and Emma, then Alex. They headed for some grass and trees where they would be more hidden. They had only traveled about 30 feet when an alarm sounded. "They have discovered that we have escaped!" gasped Nigel. "Yeah, thanks for stating the obvious," said Hudson, "let's go!" They ran until they found a small cave. After making sure everyone was there, Alex said "Alright, we have three torches and everyone still has their bags, it's almost morning, and the edge of the force field isn't to far away, that hill off in the distance is where it starts, if we get to that we will be safe." Alex looked around, everyone nodded. They stood up and left the cave. Then, a door on the side of the now distant building slid open. Kristen thought she saw it open, but she couldn't be sure. She waved a torch, but the wind blew it out. "What's the problem Kristen?"asked Nigel. "Uh, did the big door just open?" Nigel stared at it. "Yeah, I think it did!" He turned back to tell the others. "I've never run so much in all my life!" Said Kristen. "Well, you are about to do some more," said Nigel, and pointed to the dark swarm running toward them from the door.
